My New Commitment to Me!!

Hey everyone!!! I just want to put this in WRITING!!!!! I have not excerised AT ALL. I have now lost 112 pounds. As of Saturday at 7am (ugh) I have signed up at a place called Health Point. It is a division of Wooster Community Hospital where it is a rehab facility and fitness center all in one. On Saturday they will do a fitness evaluation on me, put me with a trainer, and a nut (if I want) and design a program that will work for me for my body. Then I go back Monday night to get the results and they will walk me through my new program. And guess what???? All this for 30.00 a month!!!! I made a commitment to myself the day after my surgery that once I got under 300 pounds I would start excerising. Well guess what. It's time. I can do this. I promised myself I would take every oportunity with this surgery to get to my goal, and I will be a SUCESS. I'm posting this so not only am I accountable to myself, but you guys can get on my ass if I start slacking. I need that!!!!! So I'm going to fess up and say that I want to start on a regular schedule of excerising this coming Tuesday. (why did I tell?????) Thank for letting my share my experinece with you guys, YOU are the best. I want to also thank you Marg, Soos, Tanja, & Candy for helping me through my plateau. IT FINALLY BROKE !!!!!! HEY CARM, GIRL I AM SO PROUD OF YA FOR GETTING ON THAT LOSING WAGON AND STAYING ON IT. 112 POUNDS AINT NO SMALL THING TO SNEEZE AT, MAN..... WE WILL BE THERE ALL THE WAY WHEN IT COMES TO KICKING BUTT AND HAVING TO PICK UP UP BY YOUR EXERSICE THONG..LOL

Ohh Carmella!! Did you just make a huge mistake!! Youve just given each and every one of us all permission to get on you when you screw up!! lmao!! You may regret it at some point in time, but its a great idea and it will probably help you stay motivated! You are just starting on the exercise so you will have my full support! Its going to rough at times, but it will be worth it in the end.. I hated exercise more then anything but I have done great forcing myself to do more, and now Im going crazy cause I cant exercise at all right now.. Its a great stress reliever, a great energy boost, and really becomes part of your daily routine after awhile.. Congrats on the 112 lbs!! Youve done incredible!! Amber

Hey Carm, I'm glad you finally broke through that plateau and glad we could help in some small way. I know exercise will do wonders for you; it really does help. I still have to force myself everyday to get started, but once I get going, I push myself to do a little more and a little something different each time. I also promised myself to do everything I could to make my surgery a success if I was able to have it. I was fortunate enough to get insurance approval, take care of all the required testing and pre-op weight loss, and make it through the actual surgery; I figure I've been given this wonderful opportunity, I am going to do whatever I possibly can to be successful at reaching my goals. I think it's great that you're taking that next step and committing yourself to an exercise program. You go, Girl! Take Care, Tanja

Carmella, WOW what great news about your exciting under 300 pounds mark! I am so proud of you!!! Such a great loss, am I jealous??? NO!!! just excited for you. That excercise program sounds absolutley wonderful!!! So proud of you about this new commitment. So now all of us here will be awaiting your excercise report every time you go. I can hardly wait!
