Well its official

I just got off the phone with my surgeons office, they will NOT touch me, being sick. So I have to call back in a week or two and they will put me back on the surgical schedule. That sucks. Well I guess it will be better to wait, then to go under the knife with an upper respitory infection. Gosh, my throat is killing me, I sure can relate to what my baby is going thur now... Vee

Vee, Surgery is tuff enough without the pressure of being sick it is much better and I will bet safer for you to wait be healthy before you go.Even though that does nothing for your need to get it over with so you join us on the loosing side. Be Patient your turn to join us looser is closer then you think. Connie

Thanks,, I need to remember that everything happens for a reason, and there must be one for me not to have surgery on that day...Its just very frustrating. However, I will be more prepared for the pre op diet next time,,,its just gonna be a few weeks. Vee

AW MAN VEE, HATE TO HEAR THAT YOU ARE SICK AND SURE HATE TO HEAR THEY HAD TO RESCHEDULE YOUR SURGERY. I KNOW THAT HAS TO SUCK BIG TIME. BUT AT LEAST YOU WILL HE HEALTHIER THEN AND ALSO HAVE TIME FOR YOUR BABY TO GET BETTER TO. HUGS MARGARET

Thanks Margaret,,,well you know, even having been exposed to Daniels illness put me at risk,,I am asthmatic, and we couldn't have taken the chance, I am supposed to call back a week after we are all well, and they will put me back on the surgery roster. Seems like I am the only one around here that illness has delayed their surgery,,,grrrr..... Vee

Just try to get yourself feeling better soon. Your so much better off going into surgery healthy and strong! As much as it sucks, its the best thing.. Good luck! Make sure you let us know the new date! Amber

Thanks Willby,,,just gotta remember when it is my time, everything will fall into place,,,I have been very fortunate so far,,,this has been my only delay in the whole process,,,I had my inital consult in August and I am already at surgery,,,so I can't complain about that.
