Can I be both??? I do my share of spending but Im also crazy about the savings account.. I guess I would be considered a saver really.. Im more likely to save money then to go out and blow it.. My DH is a spender big time, thats why he gets an allowance and I have the rest of the money!!! he would have us broke all the time!! Great question, willby brokesoon! Willby, I'm a spender! Especially right now. None of my clothes fit me at all any more. I've promised myself not to buy too much while I still have 110 lbs to lose. But, it was getting ridiculous. I have went out and bought a bunch of cheap clothes. But, still I've spent too much. I also had to get rid of all my shoes...bittersweet. I can't get by with cheap shoes, so I had to pony up. Plus, I've spent a whole lot of money on a gym membership, workout clothes and working with a personal trainer every month...oh well, it will all be worth it. But, I think I'm transferring some of my compulsive eating to compulsive spending! Lori 384/280/170

{{{{{WILLBY}}}}}} OMG..my hubby was just getting onto me yesterday calling me the "Cash Liquidator".... I was Christmas shopping online and I spent a good bit BUT it wasn't for me. I NEVER< EVER spend it on me I LOVE to spend money on the house, the KIDS, holidays..you know the usual. Hello Willby Brokesoon, I am the "spender" in the family. My hubby earns it..and I spend it. good deal huh??But.....I am very careful on what I spend it on and how much. I have become the master in the art of stretching the moola. For instance, instead of spending over $100.00 dollars for new curtains in my bedroom, I bought 6 twin sized sheets in colors that match my new quilt set. I will make curtains and a header (ruffle). This is only costing me $18.00 and some change. I sew and thus I am able to make things do from tayloring, putting hems in jeans, or decorating my house. I am a bargain shopper and rarely spend full price. I never buy anything for myself..but hopefully that will change soon when I give my SMO self permission to do stuff for myself....years of being a care-giver...time for some "me" time coming-up after November 23rd!!!You know why...
