Hi Carmella I don't know if this counts as a "WOW" moment but I had my first weigh in since my surgery and I lost 12 pounds. I was so excited I wanted to jump up and down and if I wouldn't have still been in pain I would have. That's all I have for now. Veronica

I'm preop, but I've had some wow moments already. I've lost 50 pounds during my 6 month doc supervised diet, and I'm walking 2-3 miles almost every day. Yesterday, I even played basketball with my son for a few minutes, something I wouldn't even have attempted 6 months ago. It's not all from the weight loss though, my self esteem is better. Life is pretty good at the moment. God is good!

I'm two years into my journey, but I vividly recall my first "wow" moment. My washer and dryer are in the basement of my rancher. For years, after I trudged up the 12 steps carrying a basket of laundry, I would immediately have to sit down on the bed and catch my breath. One day, as I was hanging up clothes, I realized that I had walked up the stairs carrying the laundry and started putting the clothes away, without stopping to sit down and catch my breath. Best of luck. Kasey 365/210/195 (nonop)

My WOW moment yesterday was when I had to stand outside in a line for an HOUR and my back didnt hurt at all! To me that was amazing, because I couldnt even walk through the grocery store for 15 minutes without being in horrible pain!
