Being Understood.....

I mentioned all of the hoops we have to go thru to get this surgery we so desperately need to my DH... I told him I would even consider shaving my head or having my thumbs chopped off if it meant getting to surgery and he was appalled... he started telling me why it's ok to be my size and all of that... I said "Never Mind- I have a place where I can go and be understood... you don't have my problems and you don't know what it's like to be me.... " so here I am telling you guys!!!!

I agree, my hubby hasnt got a clue either so I dont even discuss WLS with him, but boy will he be shocked when I lose 100 bls or more! We definitely understand, I think sometimes people think it is all about how we look, and don't think about the health problems associated with obesity. Thats why they think it is "OK" to be this size. So go ahead and vent to us anytime, we do UNDERSTAND! (((((HUGS))))) Karyn
