OT ... new computer and ...

ARghhhhhh! #*&^%@)*!!! Will probably be off-line for a bit ... don't know if hours or days right now ... beginning tomorrow afternoon. Just having too many issues with this new computer to keep putting up with them so I'm going to reformat it and start all over with XP Pro (had it on the last computer, don't know WHY I changed to Home Edition this time ... smacking myself in the forehead for that!). To those buying new computers ... if you have a choice between Windows XP Pro and Windows XP Home Edition ... go for the PRO! Home Edition has so many limitations and seems almost downright "buggy"! I know, OT for sure ... just wanted to say I'll be missing y'all and will be back when I can get here ... (((hugs all))) Myra

Myra, gosh, sounds so frustrating to have a new computer with "an attitude". My daughter just got a new computer.. hope she has the not home edition windows. Hurry back! Funny how 25 years ago we never thought we could have a computer in our home and now we don't know what to do without one! ha ha ha pam
