STINKIN FRUSTRATED!!!!!!
Ive lost 32 pounds since september 30, But havent lost a dang pound in 2-3 weeks... Im soooo friggin frustrated... UGGGHHH
This may not work... I think ill be fat forever... I mean Im eating 50-60 grams of protein, 40oz of water, less than 25 carbs, working out twice a week (3 miles each time), I lost 28 pounds on weigh****chers in 8 weeks... this is awful... I may have made a hasty decision...
how can a person be living on 600 calories a day and not be losing weight...

This may sound weird, but, you aren't eating enough. As an SMO, your body is expert at shutting down and hanging on if it thinks it is starving. Gradually, as you get your calories up to 1000 a day you'll start losing at a good clip again. I now eat between 1100 and 1500 a day, exercise 6 days a week and lose at a very steady rate. I couldn't believe it when I was new like you and only eating 500 calories a day and not losing, but, it happens. Also, getting your protein up into the 80s and 90s will help!

Girl, I just got off a 5 WEEK PLATEAU!!!!!!
I felt every bit of everything you are. (Read my whining profile)
I listened to the girls here and changed things up and made myself eat more. It's hard to eat more. But I try everyday. The scale finally started moving again. I did start excersing this week too, so I'm hoping that's going to help me too.

Stephanie, I can not blame you for being frustrated. You sound like you are really following your program. What does your doctor say???? Do they think you should add more food/calories? I was thinking about the 3 miles twice a week, might ask your doctor too, if that should be divided to shorter, and more times. Are you noticing your measurements changing?
I give you this peice of wisdom.... (I have grey hair - I can get away with this) ... to do with what you wish:
"When dieting, parenting, conflict resolving, etc. If it is not working.. TRY something new and different."
Now having said that... maybe your body likes to make big splashes... and like a Dam.... it will drop all kinds of wieght at once for that big bang effect! Get ready for those fireworks!

Stephanie, hey... just noticed another posting from a wls friend... she is about a month and a half ahead of you and in the last month she only lost 10 pounds, but seems to not be focused on that.. only the total now that is has been 3 months for her.....

So everyone is different... but in the long run .. you will have success.. I just know it!
