Hello all, Jeremy here. Just thought I would drop in and leave you all a little note. I am ok, surgery went off without a hitch, and the last 2 1/2 weeks have been, well, they have been ok. I ended up getting what I thought was shingles, but come to find out it was not (shigles do not cross the midline of your body). What I have is like a heat rash - a REALLY REALLY bad heat rash. The doctor said it was a 2nd degree ulcer meaning it was deeper than a regular heat rash but not into the muscle yet. He said had I waited any longer it could of gotten into the muscle. he prescribed a cream "silver-sulfa-diazine" to dry it up and help clear it up and liquid vicoden for the pain. Other than that everything is A-OK. My incision is healing nicely, the GI-Tube and drain tube holes are healing nicely. I measured myself and have lost a few inches here and there, I have not weighed yet, as it still hurts to get up and around to get to the LA Weight Loss place to weigh. But I am certain that I have lost at least 20 lbs. I am planning to go back to work Monday, at least half days. I miss it, I need something to do during the day, I am about to go crazy. I will write more later. love you all bye Jeremy

Jeremy! So gald to hear how you are doing... read through the other post about how much you want chicken... kept thinking HOW IS JEREMY DOING???? ha ha ha So I am glad to hear!!! And also glad that you are loosing inches! Gosh I am so glad that you found out it was not shingles... that sounds just terrible. Hope the stuff the doctor gave you is working. You must remember this for future, as you have had one of life's teachable moments.... it is ok to take care of yourself and go to the doctor when you have a terrible rash or pain or anything that you feel is not within your expertise. Now this is Aunt Pam .. older and wiser (see the grey hair): As far as chicken goes..... you want chicken, buy a picture of one or have some yummy chicken broth! You just have to be take good care of your new little pouch! And don't try to get your "cook" to feel quilty about not feeding you things you should not be eating yet and theyfore bending the pouchie rules! ha ha ha Glad you are going back to work! Bet they have missed you and will be so excited to have you back after your "vacation" in Mexico! Hey Jeremy!!!!! pam
