Is this normal? My surgery was on October 17th & another one on the 22nd, and I haven't lost anymore weight in the last FIVE days!!!! Two of those days I actually showed a slight gain???? Is this normal?? I'm worried that this isn't going to work for me? Is anybody else having these feelings? What do I have to do to get the scales to start going DOWN again??? Thanks for any insight! Cindy

Relax!!You're perfectly normal... I bet you're losing inches... and the slight gain is fluid.... Stick to the program and hang in there... You're body went thru a major shock and this is part of the recovery process... I haven't had surgery yet... but most of my post op friends have been thru this part and it PASSES and soon you'll be dropping lbs again... you'll see!!!

Hi Cindy... I'm just going to repeat what everybody else has already said but I want you to know that you are normal and this will work for you. I am two months out and I have stalled twice already. Once for a week and then recently for three weeks and bam! the weight has fallen off the last week and a half. So don't worry, your body is totally freaked out by what you've had done to it and is trying to figure out how to cope. I know it is frustrating (I was in tears alot during the three week stall) but hang in there. As long as you are doing the right things (protein, water, exercise) your body has no choice but to behave and start losing pounds (it probably is losing inches during this time). Don't give up. Blessings, Peggy 350+/324/277/150?
