HELP!! Our Board Is Dying!!!!!!!

Come on SMORES on over here and show support for our good old 50+ board. She's been good to all of us.........we cant let her go without a fight Willby

What can we do to prevent her death any

Hi Susan Candy posted a few days ago about enthusiasm on the boards. I dont have any good ideas though. I can only hope that people are just busy with their lives and maybe the holidays coming up. I, for one, count on the smores every single day to get through this journey. take care willby

I know the board seems to be slowing down.. But remember the holidays are coming up, people get busy, and we do have a couple people who just had surgery and will need a little time to heal!! I havent been here in awhile myself.. Nothing that happened on THIS board pushed me away but I had a horrible experience on my surgeons web board.. So Ive been a little standoffish.. I figured it better to stay away while I calmed down and got my head straight then to come here with my bad mood.. Amber

Hi Amber, Sorry! I tend to get a little bit dramatic The board isnt quite dying.........just slow. I hate to hear that you had a hard time on another board.......that happened to me and I am still a little standoffish I'm not back to work yet, so all I have to do is spend time online.......I have to remember that there are people out there with jobs and small children to care for..........I told you I was dramatic take care willby

I need to learn to ignore the idiots on boards.. Thankfully this board has been very good me.. Never had a problem with anyone here!! Thats why I still come here!! People tend to forget that even though they arent face to face with people while communicating on a board that being rude is still unexcusable behavior.. Thats why I still come to this board daily.. There isnt the flaming, bickering, and fighting going on.. a slight mishap is quickly resolved and all is good... I guess us SMO have a bigger heart when we are dealing with each other.. or atleast better manners! Amber

Sorry guys, I've been without internet for so long after Katrina... then with so little time to check in... that I've only been on my state board... and just once in a while on the main board I'm kinda depressed right now and don't know what to do... I have 6 weeks till my insurance imposed deadline (co pay goes up and requires a year of service) to try to appeal... and I'm not sure that it's worth the effort since it requires me to STAY at this hospital in New Orleans... away from my family 3 nights a week... it's extremely depressing...

Hi Kat! Its been so long since I've seen a post from you. I know that Katrina has been such a hardship for you. I'm so sorry to hear that youre still having troubles with your WLS. Seems like youve been through enough already........maybe its time you caught a break? Good Luck and remember that even if you arent online........I still think about you and wish you the best! willby
