Hey Everyone! What a great week, what a time to be alive!!! It's finally happening!!! I went to the doc for results of my blood work and I lowered my cholesterol (I just LOVE that commercial!) triglicerides, sugar and even my blood pressure... all within the normal range!! Who the heck am I????? And the icing on the cake????? I went to the movies last night!!! For the first time in over 10 years!!!!! I fit, I fit!!! I wanted to cry. When I got home last night (early morning) I wanted to call everyone I knew or shout it from the rooftops, but it was too late, don't think the neighbors would appreciate it. Oh yeah... and yesterday I was able to wear my seatbelt in my car for the first time EVER!!! My sis calls me the incredibly shrinking sister! I'm not breaking any speed records for losing weight, but my world is opening up. I no longer have to worry about how far I have to walk or being able to sit down. I'm still 430 lbs. but it's been ages since I've seen that and I'm loving my new life. Can a night on the town be far now???? I was over 200 lbs. in junior high, I'm going to be able to do things I never ever did before! Sorry for such a long post, but my gosh! I guess I had my doubts about surgery working, but it's working!! Steff

Great Steff Congrats girl, Way to go. I know exactly how you feel. All those little WOW moments that only us SMO's could understand. I actually booked a flight to GA in 3 weeks and my SMO brain tells me I wont fit in the seats. Last time I few I was over 400lbs and it was such a horrible experience I swore it was my last time. Now that I am under 250, I am doing it! I will let you know how different (I hope) the experience was when I return. The WOW's will keep coming, so look forward to them and shout here as loud as you want cause we are all loving it for you! Congrats again and keep up the great work. Hugs, Soos

Thanks Soos! What's amazing is how much easier 430 is on the way down than on the way up! Good luck with your flight! I'm sure you'll have no problem at all with the seats. I can't wait to start traveling again. I haven't seen my godson since he and his mother moved to Trinidad over 5 years ago. It would be so great to see them again sigh Steff

Hi Sandra Im coming to GA to see Candy on 12/8 thru 12/10. We are going to meet Deb at a mall in Douglasville one of those days. I would love to meet you too. If you live near there, please email Candy and find out if we can meet. I dont know anything about GA or how far away you live from each other, but it would be great if I could visit and meet as many of you as I can. Hugs, Soos

Steff, This is great news! I'm so happy for you. I went to the movies yesterday and loved how well I sat in the seat, I kept changing my positions (because I could) I used to only have one option (sit there with the arms of the chair painfully digging into my hips). This is a wonderful WOW moment for you! Lori 384/274/170
