5 Big Fat ****adoodie Pounds!!!!!!
Willby,
((((((((((((((((((((GREAT BIG HUG)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE!!!! You are a very strong person just for deciding to have this surgery and going through with it! You are doing great and I know you will see results, I also know it is easy for all of us to tell you have patience, but it will come off. Hang in there, we love you!

Hi Willby,
5 pounds is alot of weight - don't fret. Let me explain something that I have began to finally understand after years and years.
Remember you just put your body into shock - you had your digestive system redesigned. And what happens to some people is that your body goes into shock and no matter what you do it just will not let go of that extra weight. It goes into surivival mode. And that will happen anytime that you are really stressed out - if you are stressed you will not lose near as much weight. So don't worry about it - it will come off.
And the surgery will work - just remember it takes time just like anything else.
Hang in there,
Monica
Willby,
I was a very slow loser at first. Like you, I felt discouraged. But, once I could start walking every day for at least 1/2 hour, the weight started dropping off. I'm six months out tomorrow and I've lost 110 lbs. That no longer seems slow to me as I can't wear anything I used to own, including shoes!
Hang in there, you will be where I am in 6 months, I just know it!
