1~What are your thanksgiving plans? We are having dinner with friends and ordered a turkey dinner in a box from Kroger's because we HAVE to have "leftovers" 2~What's on your thanksgiving menu? Not sure... friends are cooking. I know for the leftovers in a box it will be turkey breast, taters, dressing, gravy and then hubby is making SF cranberry sauce, SF pumpkin cheesecake with almond crust, and SF corn pudding. 3~What one thing are you thankful for most this year? I am thankfulr that after a four-year insurance battle, my husband and I were both able to have WLS!!!! 4~Do you partcipate in the sales the day after Thanksgiving AKA Black Friday? NO NO NO... I don't care for crowds... I like to shop in the middle of the night when no one is there or online or catalogs. 5~What is you all time favorite Thanksgiving memory? One year in college I had dinner with an Argentine friend's uncle and aunt. The uncle was American and the aunt was Argentine. She says that she cannot look at poultry and feel thankfulness as that was the only protein they ever got to eat in Argentina. So, they trade off years of picking the menue. The year that I ate with them she picked to have BBQ'ed steaks. It was the first time that I honestly thought about being genuinely thankful for food. Nearly 20 years later I still remember that day vividly!!!! HUGS Patti

I am hosting 22 friends and family for dinner this year,,may as well go out with a bang,,,LOL 2~What's on your thanksgiving menu? 2 yes,,,2,,,turkeys, stuffing, yams, broccoli, mashed rutabegas, mashed taters, brussell sprouts, asparagus, cranberry sauce with maderine oranges and a huge array of desserts 3~What one thing are you thankful for most this year? my family and friends 4~Do you partcipate in the sales the day after Thanksgiving AKA Black Friday? I try to,it used to be a tradition for me and my Dad, but now that he is in a nursing home, many things are changing,,, 5~What is you all time favorite Thanksgiving memory? I remember being a little girl in NJ, and my mom used to grind her own sausage (for her stuffing) out on our back patio and there was so much snow, and it was so cold, and my dad used to go hunting that morning, and he would always come home with pheasant, or quail, or rabbit,,,its a warm fuzzy memory,,,,that plus ALL my family would get together at our house, and the house always smelled so good, especailly from my moms zuccini and pumpkin bread. 1~What are your thanksgiving plans? I'm going to my favorite cousin Sonny's house...He is a chef so my family begged him to cook Thanksgiving dinner He also just bought a new house and this is the first family gathering we will have there...it is usually at my house so thats a big relief 2~What's on your thanksgiving menu? LoL...since I'm still pre-op I plan on having my last meal on this day...might not be a good idea but I cant resist 3~What one thing are you thankful for most this year? This one time me and my brother tried to cook Thanksgiving dinner alone at age 12 and pretty much screwed everything up but everyone pretended to still like it
