I had my colonoscopy today. The wrost part was the stuff I had to drink in preparation. It was VILE. That really was the worst part. They gave me demerol and verset. Neither had that much of an impact. It relaxed me slightly. I felt the scope, though, and it hurt a bit. It wasn't as bad as the digital exam my doctor did. It was unpleasant. I remember the whole thing. I was awake the whole time. I asked the doctor if Osama bin Laden was hiding up there. They love me at the hospital. I came out of recovery fast and I walked out under my own steam. The bst part is that I got weighed before they did my IV. I've lost another 25 pounds. So I'm down almost 50 pounds since May. My BMI is down by 5%. So that's good. My surgeon will be happy.
