Pray for my Daddy
Thank you everyone for praying for my daddy. Please leave him on your list as this will be the longest road he has ever traveled. As you most know I said my dad was hurt at work since then some figures have come in he is burnt 3rd-4th degree burns on 50% of his body. He suffered a massive heart attack upon arrival at the trauma burn center located at University Medical Center in Lubbock Tx.He is currently suffering from kidney failure which pretty much goes hand in hand with burn victmins who has sustained burns like his.His outlook is bleak but I believe in the power of pray. The Drs. are hopeful that he has survied this long with his age and degree of burns that he can recover it will just be an uphill battle all the way. Once we had the heart stablized for 24hours they preformed a tempoary skin graph with some fake skin as he gets stronger and better with each passing day they will do more permant skin graphs from his own body which then classify him as a 100% burn patient. He will not be able to work again but that's why God gave them 7kids so they would be taken care of when the time was needed. He can not be removed from the critcal care list until the ventalator comes off if all goes well that will be done in 2 weeks time. So please just keep praying for my family once again his name is Mack Grass Sr. Vee God bless your daddy also!
Peace,
Connie Ferguson
Connie, I will put him on our churchs prayer chain, if that is OK with you.
My Dad made it thru spinal cord surgery on Friday, and was in alot of pain, but was able to lift his arms for the first time in months. Thank God for that, now we just have to make sure he has no post op complications. He is still in ICU, so thank you too, for your prayers.
Keep the faith.

Connie,
I am a daddy's girl and can only begin to imagine what you are going through. Please know I will tell my family of him and keep him in our prayers.
