long overdue update :-) :-) :-) kinda long read
hello out there to all my wonderful and supportive friends on this board.
I've been thinking it may be time to update y'all since i haven't been posting very much since surgery on november 7th. 
the surgery went well - they didn't repair my secondary problem of a rectocele, they're saving that particular pain in the a$$ surgery for later on - once my weight loss has stabilized. in the meantime, i maintain colon health and regularity with psyllium husk, colace & fluids. 
before surgery i had been stuck on the scale at about 302. going up, going down, never below that 300 mark. 
when i weighed myself after a week at home the scale said 290!!! had trouble believing it, though and wondered if the tumour had weighed all that or where the 12 lbs had gone didn't check in here with results cause i thought my percocet was making me see things. 
but this morning - drumroll please - the scale said 285. so now i'm thinking, maybe it's true. i have finally dropped below the 300 pound mark, something i haven't seen since my youngest was born. she's 15.
i've had several WOW moments along the way. sorry i didnt' share them with y'all, i was lurking because that's all i felt i had the energy to do.
so, if you're still reading this, bless you. i'm feeling better, doing better, and hoping to join in more often with all you wonderful people.
