Update: Now under 400
Hi Everybody,
It has been awhile since I have posted. (Thank you, Willby for your encouragement!) I wanted to share about my doc appointment last Tuesday. I weighed 398.4 in my jammies that morning, and then went to the doctor and dietitian and weighed exactly the same there! So, I'm out of the 400's and down 50 pounds. Thank YOU, Jesus!!!
The doctor released me of any restrictions!!!! Praise God! They also said that I could use my C-PAP machine until I no longer need it. So, that means that I can sleep in our bed now instead of the recliner!!!! I am gonna start to really feel "normal" now and not "sick" since I can sleep in bed!!!! Hallelujah!!!! The next time that I go back down there to the doctor and dietitian is in six weeks, which will be my three month point. I am hoping that I will be able to fit behind the steering wheel by then so that I can drive myself. My son never complains about hauling me around....bless his heart! We stopped at the Wal-Mart in Carmel while down there....and I was able to WALK around pushing a cart instead of having to use a buggy!!!! My son couldn't believe his eyes. He kept asking, "You okay, Mom? How ya' doin', Mom?" It was wonderful to walk and feel like a normal person!
I had stalled for three weeks! When I went to the doc for my week exam, Nov. 1st (which was two weeks after my surgeries cause I was in there 1 week) I weighed 449....more than before the surgery...all because of water. They told me to go ahead and use my water pills....so on Nov. 2nd I started taking my water pills again and by Nov. 9th (7 days later!) I had lost 44 pounds (of water). Then NOTHING for three weeks! Then this week I have started loosing again! This morning I weighed 395!!!!! PTL!!! I will forever be grateful to God Almighty for all He has done and is doing!!!
Thank you each and every one for your encouragement & support! I truly appreciate you! God bless! Love, Cindy
