Im extremely obese!!

Good Sunday Morning! This has been a great weekend so far! Yesterday we took our Christmas pictures. It took a long time since we included our dogs this year! Boy they did not like the whole ordeal, but we finally got a couple pictures that turned out pretty good.. Ill post them later so you can see if you want.. This morning I got up and jumped on the scale.. 238!!! How on earth did that happen?? I was over 300 not long ago!! Reality just set in that Im actually getting smaller!! I dont feel any smaller and I dont see myself as being smaller... I know that the everyday pains I had before surgery are pretty much gone and I can now do some things I havent done in years.. But wow, 238?? Im so happy!! I went and refigured my BMI... Im just extremely obese!! and almost out of that range tooo!!! My BMI is 40.8!! at 39.9 I become just obese!! This is so exciting!! and the best news is that Im getting taller somehow!! I went from being 5'2" to being 5'4" now!! I guess since my back doesnt hurt so much I can stand taller now!! Whoohooo!!! Its been a great weekend!! Amber

Congratulations Amber, reading posts like yours is such an inspiration to me. I have moments when I want to give up and think I cant do this anymore, and then I read a post (like this one) and I realize, that WILL be me someday if I just keep at it! Thanks for the motivation! Karyn

Dear Amber, If you round up some full body pictures at your highest weight and compare them to your newest one you will start to see the difference. There surely is an amazing one. The difference in my pictures is amazing. I can really see where I came from. Keep up the good work. I am so happy for you. Loris

Hey thanks Marie for reminding me of my moment!! I actually cleaned out my closet somewhat so I wont have that issue again! All my old clothes are packed up and ready for someone to pick up!! A friend of mine who had surgery the day after me is finally into a 26/28 so she is getting all my old clothes!! I really didnt need the laugh today since Ive been on cloud 9 all day but reliving my moment again always makes me laugh... Amber
