does anyone use curves?

i belonged to curves about two years ago. it was a great experience and i would recommend it to anyone looking to get a varied workout and a little social interaction at the same time. dorthe

I used curves for about 9 months and i loved it everytime i went. the pace was good for me, the people were great, and it was not like a regular gym where you are the only overweight person there - the girls at curves were....well....curvey... and no boys... that was a BIG plus++++.. Jeremy

Hi I joined Curves back in October and enjoy it I haven't been back yet , but plan on going back the first of next month. The people there are really nice and it is average women not super models and the pace is good for you too. Take care, Anita

Hi, I was curves member for about a year. And I have to say at first I enjoyed it and then the owner started coming in and was not a nice person. She made everyone miserable and kept making the stations where you exercise closer and closer together. I complained they were so close I would bump into people and she just looked me up and down and said well, I will think about moving the stations. I was so upset and embarassed because I was 371 pounds at the time and she said it so loud some of the members were snickering. I have to say after that I never went back except to come in and cancel my membership. And even when I did that her daughter was working there and she rolled her eyes at me when I said I was there to cancel. And the worst part was when I was walking out the door she said I don't understand why the really FAT people always quit, but at least that is one more out of the way. And the staff was laughing. Now - I know if I had a better experience I would have stayed. Just make sure that you know that its a good curves. Each one is different because they are all owned by different people.
