Me: "somebody please kill me!!!!!!!!"
Come on guys........you know you miss the "teen years". Heres your chance to experience them all over again. I'll even deliver!!
willby(in prison soon for murderizing one 15 year old)
You have made my morning!! Thank you for the laugh. Unfortunately, I cannot buy your son. I have a car payment to pay today, which will break the bank. Ask me again next week. My little brother is 15 as well...They can look at each other and not say a word...then go play a video game or listen to some music.

Oh yea I get called "gay" alot..its the equivlent of dumb I guess.
I will not be buying your son, as I have twins who are 21 and do NOT miss those years for anything.
Who knows what goes through their minds?
I just learned early on to grunt and nod alot.
Saves on arguments lol
Good luck...who knew those cute little bundles would become so complicated???

ok girl - i'll trade you even up for my 15 year old daughter.
she's learning to drive and doesn't like being told how to do it. if i comment on something she should have done differently she feels i'm being too 'nervous'.
she's seeing a chiro for stiff neck and shoulders as well as headaches. i told her to stand up straighter - she's just under 6' and conscious of her height - but what do i know, i'm only her mother.
she's been complaining about earaches so i took her to the dr. for a recheck - she was there 11/7 and had fluid behind her ears so they gave her amoxicillyn.(sp) i told her it might help if she wore something to cover her ears since it was six degrees below zero here in MN yesterday - what do i know? i'm just her mom.
oh, and by the way, i'll throw in my dh, too. last night he 'mentioned' that he had been doing alot of cooking lately - i've been running to the chiro and school, etc... for daughter between the hours of 3 and 6, while he gets home from work at 3:30 and can either cook or chaffeur. how in the name of heaven he expects me to do both at the same time is beyond me. he said he did it a few weeks ago. guess what - i was just recovering from my surgery and didn't even try to help him with the chores - how in the world could i make him do it all??????? (SORRY - SARCASM SEEPING INTO THIS POST)
i return to work after next week from my hysterectomy. until then, i guess i'm supposed to be able to cover the cooking, laundry, cleaning, driving, shopping, christmas preparation, you name it-hubby and child think i should do it.
in the meantime - my disability pay has not yet
shown up. so the bills are piling up.
God help me, i've decided i'm going to use these two weeks for self-improvement. did my hair, whitening my teeth, working on treadmill, eating mindfully and using fitday.com for accountability.
wish me luck. and, oh yeah, if you want to trade, even up, let me know, willby. it's entirely possible we could arrange something.

Stop! Stop! I'm cracking up here!
I was going to mention to Willby that she remind her son that he's going to want to borrow the family car really soon (depending on what the driving age is there) and he'd better be thinking on whether she's going to want to allow him to use it ... behavior mod by the reward system ... isn't that what they used to call it?
When my girls were 12 - 15 I thought either I'd be going to the nuthouse or they would ... definitely someone was going to counselling ... but honestly at roughly 15.4 years old they sort of snapped out of all the attitudes and craziness and got nice. My thoughts at the time were they realized time was short to get on my good side about driving and using the car.
They never have, however, stopped "ganging up on me". They can be fighting with each other ... they're twins and they do it alot ... but if anyone from the outside (of their shared space), including me, decides to put in two cents about the argument, it's like they snap out of their argument, look each other in the eyes and nod, turn in unison, mold together and attack ...
A true sight to behold. I never had to worry too much about them as long as they were together.
Willby, Dorthe ... you both have my sympathies and condolences. It will get better ... but it's tough living through it. (snickering behind my hand here ...
)
