wow.. I read your post yesterday and I didnt see anything wrong with it! You simply said what you were feeling (and what most of us have felt or will feel at some point).. Sorry they pulled your post, I personally thought it was great vent.. You voiced what Ive been feeling for the past month!! Amber

i, too, read your vent post yesterday...and was NOT offended by it. i have the same feelings when i visit my surgery date board...i've lost over 200 lbs. and still weigh more than what some of my surgery-date peers started out at. best to you. deb

I read your vent too and didn't see anything wrong with it. We are here for each other to lean on and sometimes that means VENTING

I don't understand why they pull post because there is negative issues with the surgery and weight loss in general I would love to know that someone is feeling the same doubts about the surgery I have!!!!

Nothing offensive at all Myra! IF anyone was offended, they should have simply passed over the post. Why take away from learning about what we go through, and helping others? Geesh... if we can't vent here about WLS and its obstacles, where can we vent?! Huggs, Ruth

Thanks you all (see Dorthe .. I can say it that way too :oÞ) The email I got said I shouldn't have referred to another member's post ... even if it wasn't in this Board ... and I can see their point. I think that's the mistake I made, because they said very clearly that "vents aren't disallowed" ... as long as they aren't specifically directed TOWARD anyone and weren't extremely negative. I guess I was a bit too specific. I still meant what I said (in a more general way, of course) and especially the part about THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND HELP AND FRIENDSHIP!!! ((((hugs)))) and to all "y'all" Myra And one other message especially to Kasey ... because I regretted the way I'd worded my post after I read her response ... OF COURSE I don't think PS is shallow after losing so much weight ... I think it's necessary and well deserved. If I offended you in any way by my post ... I apologize deeply. -M
