Believe it or not Willby I don't like cookies. I don't why but I am not a cookie person...BUT pull out some chocolate covered cherries and I'll hurt myself..

my mom makes two that are equally my favorites, one is a chocolate cookie with mint andes candys melted on top, and the other is some kind of toffee bar cookie made with saltines, dont know the name of them but they are YUMMY!!!

You get them at the grocery store bakery.. Shortbread with icing and sprinkles.. I LOVE THOSE... I love most cookies and about everything with sprinkles though... LMAO

What a good question! ~I would have to say Sugar Cookies with frosting. I love them and they remind me of my childhood... making cookies for Santa!!! Awww thanks for the memories... it really put a smile on my face. Hmmm.... maybe I should make some this year?! Happy Holiday Hugs, SipeleK

hi willby: love the question. it's a biggie for me since i spent yesterday making christmas cookies with my daughter. i'm so proud of me i didn't even have one little taste. didn't lick my fingers clean. didn't test for taste. NOT EVEN ONCE!!! but - the question is favorite cookie - mine was a roll up cookie called date nut pinwheels. the dough is brown sugar and cinammon and the filling is dates and nuts. they're my most requested and it was soooooo hard to ignore them yesterday. they even come in second to fudge, which we also made and I DIDN'T TASTE thanks for asking, though. i had to get that out of my system. White chocolate chip macadamia nut with dried cranberries. A sinful concoction if ever there was one.

I have all my grandmothers old cookie recipes. I try new ones all the time, but I always go back to hers. They are the best. She has one just like the one you described Dorthe, and they are called Date Nut Pinwheels too! Chewy and yummy! Was always a favorite of mine. Though I must confess, I never met a cookie that I didn't like! Huggs, Ruth
