Christmas Eve, morning or day? It used to be Christmas morning with the kids and family but now we have changed to Christmas eve with family because of grandchild. We have an artificial tree here at our apartment here in Hawaii. We waited too long last year and HAD to get the fake one, but at home in Georgia we had real trees 4b. How do you decorate your tree? Certain color theme? We just put all kinds of things on our trees, old ornaments, new ornaments, lights anything but tinsel and garland..my mom won't let us do either of those. 4c. When do you decorate your tree? The week after we get our tree, my dad has to go through his ritual of soaking it outside for a week after we cut it down 5. When do you open gifts? Well.......i'm sure it wasn't the best they have had, but I tried to make the last two Christmas' special for my parents, my brother died 2 years ago and I can't begin to imagine how difficult it must be for them without him during the Holiday's. 4a. Do you have a real tree or is it artificial? Artificial due to my my son having Asthma 4b. How do you decorate your tree? Certain color theme? I have a kid tree. My three kids decorate the tree however they choose. My brother used to work at a fancy dancy Christmas shop and used to give me a lot of very nice hand blown and specialty ornaments that I will use when i'm old and grey(er) and there aren't any children living home. 4c. When do you decorate your tree? It's never too early to decorate. One year I talked my husband into getting the tree up the day after Halloween. Usually, we put it up after Thanksgiving. We won't be doing a tree at home again this year though, we have decorated the tree at my parents house and will be celebrating there again this year. 5. When do you open gifts?
