My surgery is in 2 days. I have worked at a hospital for over 2 years. Im usually immuned to all the colds, coughs, etc.... Except for the week before surgery. Every person I had dealt with had to cough, breathe, or vomiting on me. Guess what? I have a cold. It's not an aggressive one yet. Just a little to know that it's there. No fever! Im going to be upset if I have to cancel. Hopefully, I can get rid of it by Tuesday am. Has anyone been cancelled for a cold? No Fever? Melissa

Melissa, I was almost canceled for a fever. I was immediately put on antibiotics and thankfully, the day of my surgery it was gone! My surgeon told me she would definitely cancel if I'd had one the day of surgery. Lori

Melissa: I had bronchittis before surgery (2 weeks). Thank God, after antibiotics , I was a go for surgery on my date, Oct. 10. I worried all the time up to. It was the best thing I ever did. Am now 9 weeks post op and have lost 45#. God bless, and may your surgery go as well as mine with no problems. See you on the losing side. Love, Santina
