Thanks for your Prays!

To all my wonderful friends on here thank you from the bottom of my heart as you will never know how much they really meant to me and my wonderful daddy! My hero passed away on 12-08-05 at 3:10pm due to complications of his severe burns. I take to heart that it was very quick and peaceful with no more suffering and now my families hearts can begin to heal. I have no answers to my poor mother whom he was married to for 37 wonderful years I have never seen my beautiful mom age right before my eyes as she has done in the last three weeks. My daddy is survived by his wife Marilyn and seven childern and thirteen grandchildern. If anyone has any advice to help my mom to cope it would be appreicated. Once again Thank you for listening to me and praying for my family! P.S. My mom is looking into wls herself by seeing my results! Peace, Connie

hi connie: please accept my sympathy on the loss of your beloved father. mine passed away in july of this year and it's still a fresh sore. one of my neighbors gave me a wonderfully healing book called 'the mourning handbook' it helped me alot and you may want to get one for yourself and/or your mom. my prayers for your family's healing are winging their way to you through this holiday season and for all the new year. please take care. Connie, I am so sorry for your loss. Just know that your daddy is in peace now and not suffering. Your mom will heal in time, but your family has to band together for each other now. You seem to have a big, close knit family. That will help you get through the next few months. My thoughts are with you during this very hard time. Hugs, Soos

My only suggestion for your mother would be to see if maybe she can get in and talk to a counselor or attend a grief support meeting most hospitals have these or know of the info.
