Hello new to this site.
HI I just found this group. Its nice to know I am not alone. I have a surgery date scheduled for March 13. I have Tricare standard I hope they approve me. I just realized I have a bmi of 66.6 that can't be a good sign. I realized that I need to do something about my weight and cannot gain anymore. I have a 8mo son and carrying him makes my hips hurt. Tomorrow I have my pre-op testing. I am both nervous and excited to get things started.

Welcome Jennifer,
You are doing the right thing for yourself. To be successful at weight loss surgery, it takes a tremendous amount of commitment, but, it is so worth it. Talk to your surgeon about how to prepare over the next 3 months for the surgery. Anything you do now to get ready will only make the transition easier!
