5 Questions

1. Haven't put a tree up in a few years now ... just a ceramic table-top one. (Don't beat me up! The other one is 7 feet tall, lives in a big box in the basement, and weighs too much for me to bring up by myself with my back the way it is... otherwise I'd have it up). When we DID put the tree up, however, a plush Rudolph in a Santa Hat hand-puppet graced the top of the tree ... it was something my twins found in a store when they were five, and in their minds, it needed to be up there ... they're 35 years old now and still insist (when a tree is put up) that Rudolph belongs at the top! Bent antlers, flattened plush, a little bedraggled and certainly old ... he's still supposed to be up there. 2. We open family gifts on Christmas Eve. When my children were little, the story was we had to open the family's gifts the night before so we could clear out beneath the tree to make room for Santa to leave gifts for Christmas morning. Then I divorced, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day ****il noon) became "my time" with the girls, the rest of Christmas Day was their Dad's. So the Christmas Eve arrangement was even more necessary after that, because they had so many different places to visit on Christmas Day. 3. I love anticipation! I never want to know until it's time to open presents. I love surprises! 4. haha ... I was thinking of the Grandma got run over by a reindeer one ... and "jingle bells, shot-gun shells, rabbit got away..." hate those! 5. Sorry, I'm an all-whiter on my tree (again, when I put one up ) ... but I like multi-color outside lights. These were fun questions! Myra
