Anti Resolutions

We don't really make the same ones as other people since most of us have made the ultimate committment to live healthier and lose weight etc. I thought it might be fun if we talked about the things we are NOT going to do in the new year. It's way easier to keep that promise than promising to do something. SO I am not going to fall into old bad habits... I am not going to beat myself up .. I am not going to put others first anymore. Just like the bad foods I have eliminated I will not tolerate bad people in my life.. I won't be treated badly anymore. I won't put off logging on until the housework & everything else is done and I have the free time...because housework is never done and I miss you guys!!

Sounds good Chik! I am going to say "yes" less to all the different volunteer organizations I'm involved in. I end up doing too much and feeling a bit resentful. I don't have time for that this year. I've got to stick to my program! Lori 384/263.5/168

You've already said some important anti's for me .. no old habits, no beating myself up, no bad foods, and definitely no putting others first (that's a hard one). Also, and a main one for me, I'm not going to be so much of a loner. Because of my weight (and some life disappointments that accompanied it), I long ago began to draw in toward myself and began keeping people at distances personally. One can get very good at that with so many years practice ... and it's a hard shell to break out of. Myra
