I've lost 48 lbs, BUT

none of my clothes are sagging, etc... I can't see it, but husband says he can.... I feel like I havn't lost anything. Will this feeling go away.

Hi Diane, I wouldn't worry about it too much! I lost 55lbs (before I started looking into WLS and have gained it all back) without decreasing a single pant size. As long as that scale is moving don't worry...easier said than done. Also we look at ourselves every day so we can't see the changes but others around us can too. Hey you should take a picture of yourself and compare it to your pre-op days! It's so great that you've lost 48lbs! I wish I was in your shoes Keep up the good work. April

greetings YES, that feeling will go away. it took quite a while, and a lot of pounds before i could really tell a difference. even now, 11 months and 218 pounds gone later, i really don't think i see the same thing in the mirror that other people see. i'll wear something to work that i think fits really well, and my coworker will tell me it's too big. my mind and eyes just don't seem to see what everyone else see's. 48 lbs is GREAT! keep up the good work. before you know it, you'll be amazing yourself! best to you! deb
