Good Morning Smores! If anyone ever needs me......just look at your local Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Thrift Store. OMGODDESS!!! My son just opened up an Ebay store and I have been combing these places looking for bargains. Its so true about one mans junk being another mans treasure. I have found so many old board games that I buy for 25 or 50 cents. My son turns around and lists them on Ebay and sells them for 10,15, and even 20 dollars!! My family teases me that I have become an ebay addict. I THINK ITS TRUE!!!! They are tired of hearing about all of my bargains.....so I hope you all dont mind if I tell you. Yesterday, I bought a complete service for 8 of Teinshen china. It was $9.99. I came home and looked online and just one plate is going for 13.99!!!!!!!!!! ooooooo............I think I see surgery in my future to remove my bargain gene. Hope everyone has a good weekend! I'm off to a garage sale (in January yet!!!) take care willby

Willby ... My daughter does the same with used books on Half.com (part of Ebay) ... she's got a regular little home-business going and makes a good little profit from it. Of course I have to constantly watch her when she gets near my bookcases ... her fingers get a bit sticky and then "whoosh" that book is SOLD!!! We had to have a little conversation about that If you find any sapphire FireKing icebox dishes, let me know, we might can make a deal! Or blue Madrid pattern depression glass ... or ... true hand-blown cobalt glassware ... Oh well, now you know my secrets ... I'm a sucker for blue glassware Myra

Hi ya Willby, Ahhh, a woman after my own heart!! Do your Goodwill stores have a 1/2 Saturday?? We have one every other week. Would you believe how I've missed my 1/2 off Saturdays. I mostly look for craft items that I can easily copy or craft supplies. Next time I go...Next saturday, I'm gonna look for "transition clothes" I find things that I really don't need..but It's fun. Did you say yard sale??? I better get a going, now that I am allowed to drive....I can't miss out on the fun. Not to make anybody out there feel bad but...it's gonna be 80 degrees today in sunny Chandler, Arizona..sorry! Oh, I'm lovin' the after Christmas sale stuff that is still going on at some local drug stores...can you say...90 percent off!! I bought a small lighted Christmas tree. Don't ask me where I'll put it..but it was a dollar!!! Hugs and good luck lady Virginia aka Ginger

Willby, Don't even get me started about EBay!! I practically live there. I was just there before here.....When my EBay page opens and it lists total purchases, I feel so guilty $2,238.60 in the last 60 days, and that doesn't include shipping. Yikes! And I have not bought a single useful item. I have bought autographed Red Sox baseballs, music and movie memorabilia, African art, books, even an autographed George Clinton guitar. I can't stop myself!! The bright spot is that a couple weeks ago I drifted away from the EBay site to the Neiman Marcus site and ended up buying a pair of Manolos and a pair of Dolce & Gabbana shoes. Given the option, EBay is saving me a lot of money! Sad thing is, I don't have any credit cards, I never felt the need for any because I just always pay cash for what I want. Now I am considering applying for PayPal credit so I can buy more stuff on EBay. 33 years old and my first time in debt (other than student loans) may be EBay!! I am such a loser! I can't wait for my tax refund. I am going to get it direct deposited into my PayPal account LOL. Good luck with the EBay. It's addictive, but better than my former addiction of bread and mayonnaise lol. Carrie
