Maybe next week

Hi everybody, Well, things didn't quite go as expected at the wound center. The doc recomended that I leave the wound VAC on for another week. The reason why is because this last week the depth went down a whole centimeter, if I keep it up... my incision should be almost non existant. I have sooo many scars on my belly. You should see my belly..I told my doc...Oh boy, there goes my modeling career!! Kiddin' of course! Oh well, maybe next week they will take the thing off. I'm gonna try to eat today..and get that protein in..without using the PROMETHAZINE meds my doc prescribed..too strong for me! You guys have a great week-end! Hugs and smiles, Virginia aka Ginger

I am glad to hear your wound is healing so nicely after such a struggle. I know you probably wanted the wound VAC off. but if it is working better with it then one more week will hopefully go fast for you. Good luck next week and hopefully everything will go fine. bye love marie
