Hi everybody, I guess I'm all questions this morning. These are two kinda dumb ones (questions that is) 1. How many tablespoons are in a scoop thingy of protein powder? (I lost the scooper thing) 2. What is the adverage shelf life of protein powder? I have a huge container of Pure Whey-Banana Scream and I cannot find an expiration date on it. I bought it about 2 years ago after my son's wls. Thanks you guys, Virginia aka Ginger

Ginger, I went to my kitchen so excited to use my measuring spoons and cups because for the first time since I had surgery I actually had a use for the darn things and your answer is the scoop in the standard protein container will hold 1/3 cup. I poured one level scoop from the container to the 1/3cup measure and it also leveled out perfectly. So thanks now I have all the dust wiped off those darn things. Peace, Connie P.S I don't know about the expiration date.

Hi Connie, Thanks for experimenting in your kitchen for me. I knew that 2 tablespoons didn't look like enough...and didn't want to go overboard with the protein. I made a protein shake today and it DIDN'T make me sick!! yeah!! I've gotta find some way to up my protein since I still can't handle most foods yet. Thanks again! Hugs, Ginger
