I've been approved!

It took long enough, but I talked to my surgeon's secretary just a little while ago, and she confirmed that I have been approved for surgery! Good thing too because I go for pre-admissions testing tomorrow! Let the countdown begin........5 more days!!! Please pray that this surgery will be done laparoscopically.....I am worried they may not be able to and will end up going open. Thanks! Karyn

Hi karyn, I am sending good thoughts for your upcoming LAP wls. I think Lap is the way to go...Most docs like it better too..either way, you'll do great and be up the next day walking the halls and making lots of new friends along the way..I'm sure you are just as fun and friendly in person as you have been to us here in SMO-land (Is that like Disneyland??) Anyway, relax and pretend you are just going in for a simple procedure..an everyday thing. Take some of the pressure off of yourself..you will be so glad when this is over so think forward to the future...Running in a field with your sweet little girl and your hubby!
