Update

Hello to my extended family & friends: First and for most Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts!!! My mother had surgery on Wed they had to put her in ICU cuase when they went to take out the tube she wouldnt breath on her own. That was enough to stop my heart. They took her off the breathing tube last night. She has been sitten up and talking like crazey all day today. They are talking about her going home in the next day or two. YIPPIE!!!!! Okay, now about me and my appointment. I went to see Dr. Scott yesterday. So far I have lost over 45 lbs. He was really pleased with me. And that made me feel really good about myself. He is submitting my insurance approval and just as soon as I hear or they hear something I will get my date. Dr. Scott said that from the time insurance approval to surgery date it is usually 2 weeks. I am so over joyed and excited!!! It now feel like this dream of mine will actually be acheived!!! Praise be to GOD!!! Thanks to everyone for the encourgement and inspiration. I will post and update my profile when I get home. Keyboard bigger then this little laptop. My fingers are too fat for the keyboard. Also instead of having to go all the way to Columbia, MO for my mandatory meeting. They are having one in Springfield, MO on the 28th of this month. So the only other thing I will have to do is go to my information class (once I am approved) God Bless you all. Have a good weekend coming up!!! Melissa

Sounds as if your momma is getting better. I am glad and you are on your way to surgery. You have done so well losing 45 pounds before surgery. You should be proud of yourself that is a accomplishment. I dont know if I could have done that You did so well love marie
