Introduction.....
Hello everyone,
My name is Teresa and Iam 38 years old and have been obese my entire life.I have been lurking on here for awhile now and thought I would finally get nerve up to say hello.Iam just getting started with this approval thing Iam calling the doctor to make my first appointment with my PCP.It as a long approval process with my insurance I have Kaiser so Iam looking at 6 months to a yr for approval if I live that long.I weigh about 420 as of now,I do work very long hours but have to push myself around in a chair 90% of the time as I cant do much walking anymore.I do have a partner of 6 years who also had WLS 2 years ago and has been doing wonderful ever since and is still losing as of today(Iam so proud of her).I find great comfort in these message boards just listening to stories of others going through some of the same things that Iam going through or have already been through.I love how noone is ever judged and the support is always there.Well I appreciate ya'll listening to me ramble.

Its great that your partner had the surgery too. She will be such a big help to you when your time comes! Please come back and visit us often! Good Luck!

I pray your right Willby,it would be wonderful if the time just quickly passed by as one of my main fears as of now is that I wont live long enough to go through surgery.Congratulations on your surgery thats so amazing
And yes it is wonderful that I have my dear partner who has already experinced all of this to be right by my side.I appreciate the welcome and the comforting words of encouragement.
Thanks,
Teresa
