Thanks so much Beth.Yes Iam blessed to have been through this with my partner.I can remember each and every leg of this that we went through when she was trying to get approved.I have tried to prepare myself for all of the things that Iam facing but I truly feel blessed to have found this board and such supportive people ,it has to make the process a bit more tolerable. Hey, Teresa! Welcome to the board. You're brave to pursue surgery. You know what you need to do to reclaim your health, and you're moving forward. Way to go! It's great that you're working. Even the little bit of activity involved in going from work to home is doing you more good than you know. If you need any exercise advice from someone who started out a good hundred pounds heavier (and who hated exercise a lot), just drop me a line. You and your partner have a long road ahead, but keep on pushing forward. The results are worth it. Okay, so that's just what I hear I'm only a month post op, and it takes a bit longer for someone my size to notice a lot of change, but I'm getting there, and soon you will be, too. Good luck

Hello Rebecca, OMG yes I need to know any advice you have for starting to exercise.Every bone in my body hurts.We went to Sears this past weekend to try to buy a piece of exercise equipment for home but everything we found had a weight restriction of 350 lbs and that definately leaves me out as I weigh more than that.What did you do to get started ?What equipment do you use now?Any advice you have is greatly appreciated.Congratulations on your surgery.Cant wait to be on the losing side with you Teresa

Teresa, If this surgery is right for you (and only you and your doctor can know that) then it will probably be the best thing you've ever done for yourself. It has been for me. Lori 384/260.5/168
