Size Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???????????? OMG........... Let me say this. My mom has always been the shopping fool. She will shop from dawn up to when the cows come home. She's always been like that. She will want to go to 50 stores in 2 hours. Me, I'll do 2 stores in about 3 hours. (I used to need a break) She has been wanting to buy me some clothes for awhile now, but I wouldn't let her. Well she comes into my work on Thurs. with this whole jean Jessica Simpson outfit. Glitter and diamonds accents everywhere. Well the coat is a size 18/20 and it's too big. (yes I said too big!!) But the jeans are a 22W and they are tight in the thighs, so I don't even put them on. So we do the whole take the outfit back routine. I left my house at 9:30am and did not return until 8:30pm. I couldn't be it. Me out shopping that late. I also went to 2 different Fashion Bug's and The Avenue. I got 5 pairs of pants 4 shirts, 1 bra (Size 40B!!!!!), 4 pairs of SEXY SEXY SEXY panties , 2 body tank tops. Your sista friend is looking hot!!!! But guess what? Umm, how do you go from being 400lb size 30/32 (tight) and now in an 18/20 top and 20 pants and know what style is. I'm dumb. I have NO fashion sense at all!!! I need to take classes for this. Style classes!!! Hubby said the jeans/jacket and new tank look hot, but too much cleveage. (guess I won't wear that!!) Then the shirts I got were dressy/flowy type at the bug and he says they look like maternity shirts!! Maybe next time I'll take him. Mom picked everything out. Now she has style. oh well I had a wonderful day. And today I'm just thankful to be where I'm at in my journey. Just wanted to share all my "wow" moments with everyone!!!! Man this is fun!!!! Take Care!~~~ Carmella

This won't help you to know what's in style, but I thought I'd post a little tip on clothes shopping post-op. If you have a local consignment shop or thrift shop (Goodwill, etc) check it out. I've not hit the trift shops, but I LOVE my consignment shop. You might have to dig through a lot of crap, and if something doesn't fit, you can't just switch it for a different size, but when you're only going to be wearing something for a month or so, it's not nearly as painful to pay $4 or $5 for it! Yesterday, I bought 3 pair of jeans, 3 pair of "fancy pants (at my house, that's anything dressier than jeans), 3 shirts and 1 sweater (most of which my partner and I will be able to share!) for a grand total of $33.96! And, if you're so inclined, the consignment shops will buy clothes from you as they get too big. Or if you donate them to charity, be sure to estimate the value and have them sign off on it, for tax purposes! Beth

Carmella, Maybe you should try to get a spot on "What Not To Wear". That would be fun, because they give you the money to shop with! Lori 384/260.5/168
