102.5lbs GONE!!

I did it! I finally did it!! I cleared the 100lbs mark!! Ive now lost 102.5 lbs as of this morning!! No I didnt get my hair cut or remove the nail polish to make it either! I got on the scale this morning and had lost 3lbs since yesterday!! (which surprises me since I splurged yesterday and ate 2 bites of s/f angel food cake with strawberries).... Im calling my nut today to have her adjust my diet some. On days when I take in a few more calories I seem to lose more and feel better. So I think I might not be getting quite enough.. I do get my protein and water in everyday!! Im only getting 500-700 calories a day, which was fine at first, but I think Im getting far enough out that I should be eating more.. Now how do I get a century card???? Amber

Congrats Amber Isnt it the greatest feeling? I am still amazed at the weight that falls off. I hope it lasts!! I am 6 months and 1 week out and I pray I keep loosing for another 20 months..hell another 20 years! I am in st marys..not to far from you...maybe we could meet, I believe u emailed me a bit back re: a problem that I had. I also think I heard you screaming and jumping up and down this morning hahahha Have fun, and happy loosing Donna -104lbs gone forever

Donna, Yeppers! That was ME!! Your new picture looks great! Youve been doing so well.. Funny you should mention getting together- My DH and I were thinking of going up to St Simons for dinner in a couple weeks and I told him that if we were going up that Id have to get ahold of you so we could stop and meet you!! You live too close not to meet!! We are looking at orders up to Kings Bay, not sure if we will get them or not, but if we do atleast Ill kinda know 1 person!! Ill get ahold you when my DH decides if we are going up for dinner.. Amber

Lori, I talked with my nut today.. In the piles of paperwork she gave me it said I should increase my calories about a month ago.. But it was buried and I never seen it.. There was just too much paperwork from her to keep track of it all.. She has me up to 1000 calories a day now.. But Im not sure how Im suppose to get that many.. I can barely get in 800 a day.. I guess I need to find foods with a little more calories.. But Ill start working on getting more now.. Amber

Amber, Can you eat nuts yet? I eat 22 raw unsalted almonds or 30 salted pistachios for a snack at least once a day. For the almonds, it gives me 164 calories with 6 grams of protein. The pistachios are 102 calories and 4 grams of protein. Make sure you chew them up very well before swallowing. Nuts are higher calorie, but, have the "good" fats in them. They really contribute to energy levels. I start every day off with 1 cup of fat free cottage cheese which is 140 calories and 26 grams of protein. As you can see, I don't seem to have any problem getting in my calories. I just try to make sure they are healthy ones! I'm 8 months out, I average 1400 calories a day with 88 grams of protein. I exercise 1 hour a day, six days a week. I had to up my calorie intake to be able to keep going. I'm losing kinda slow, but, really feeling healthy, so I guess this is the best way! Lori 384/258/168
