Margaret is out of surgery!!

Hi All, I just wanted to post briefly and let you all know that Marge made it through surgery with no complications. The surgery took about three hours and went as expected. She is now in recovery and will be moved to her room when she wakes up and is breathing on her own, etc. I will keep you updated as things progress. Thanks, Tanja

Hi Sandra, I just spoke to Margaret's daughter again; she called me from her cell phone, and I spoke to Margaret briefly. She is in good spirits but still quite groggy. She can hardly talk because her mouth and throat are so dry. She said they plan to have her up and walking a bit this afternoon. I did tell her that you were thinking about her, but then I neglected to find out her room number - sorry . She wasn't much into talking; she said she would post and e-mail when she felt up to it. If I hear anything else, I will let you know, but otherwise things went very well! Take Care, Tanja
