Hi Everybody, I went to the Wound Center today! I got the O.K. to turn in my Wound VAC. The Doc said I did the right thing by getting on the antibotics when I did. I had cellulitus(spelling?) but with the meds..I am on my way! I'm seeing them again in 2 weeks..instead of my standing next Friday appointment. Next thing/person to go is my homecare nurse. I shouldn't have to have her come so often just for blood clot issue. Hey guys! I'm getting normal again! Thanks to all of you for your prayers and good healing thoughts that I've felt all around me. I'm feeling pretty good about things now. My clothes are feeling looser and I'm happier than I Have been in sooooo long. I feel very fortunate to have had this surgery. I don't miss the 45 pounds one bit! Hugs and Smiles, Virginia aka Ginger

Ohhhhhh Willby, That was a biggest Belly laugh I've had in awhile....yes that bf did suck..he sucked BIG TIME. It's amazing how that negative pressure going 24/7 makes the wound heal so quickly. I gotta tell ya...I was waiting in the waiting room and a married couple were leaving. I noticed that the woman had a wound vac on (she looked so sick and frail) the thing that I noticed was that her husband carried the wound vac over his shoulder as they walked out. I thought..wow! Why didn't my husband carry my vac for me??? That sucker was heavy. I didn't even think of that possibility. Now I'm being nit-picky aren't I? Hugs, Ginger
