I feel like I am constantly grazing. I either go for long periods without eating or I feel like I am constantly munching. I am only 2 months out and am scared that my "habits" are creeping up on me. Does anyone have any good suggestions on setting a schedual or routine. I completly understand that it takes work. I am willing to work, just want to catch myself befor I go too far off track....And sometimes I feel like I am eating tooo much. Thank you all so very much I am so glad to have this group of amazing people to turn to. Thank you again Keri

Keri, how about keeping a food and exercise diary? That will tell you if you're eating too much, and help chart your progress as you increase your workout routine. Best of luck. Kasey 365/210 (nonop)

Keri, I agree with Kasey.. Keeping a journal of your food will help you to see how much your eating and help you keep yourself on track.. I use fitday.com to track my food and exercise.. It helps me keep track of how much protein I get everyday, plus it makes it easier to keep track of calories, carbs, and fat too.. I am in the process of controling my grazing again. When I feel the urge to graze I try to do some exercise until the feeling passes. Im trying to replace a bad habit with a good one.. If you come up with any ways to help control grazing please post and let us know. We all need whatever helpful hints we can get! Good luck Amber

Keri, I struggle with this as well. I keep everything I eat in fitday.com. It helps me stay accountable. I bring healthy snacks to work with me like fresh vegs, yogurt, soynuts, pistachios. But, still struggle when there is other food around me. My nutritionist has us eat 3 meals a day with 2 snacks. Many people say their programs allow no snacking. I'm not sure which is the best way...it both takes control. WLS is not a get out of "exercise and diet jail" free card!!! Good luck. Lori 384/255/168
