Cathy, Hey there, my pcp Dr. Townsend in columbus, is very much for WLS. She was good. She has a lot of patients it seems like though. But she did good. Another friend used Dr. Mecca in Columbus, she said he was great and helped her with everything for WLS. Good luck and keep us informed. Smile, Nalani

Cathy, congratulations on moving forward with your WLS journey. There are many types of WLS surgery. Please take the time to do your own research on what will work best for you. Take your own and your families medical history into account. Take in your eating habits and the reality of what you will be willing to do after surgery to maintain your weight loss and your overall health. Don't let someone force a procedure on you because it is the only thing they have been trained to do. Don't choose a type because it is an easy type to get approved. Good luck for the road ahead. We will be rooting for you. Here is a link that might be helpful. Just add www. before the address. dssurgery.com/generalinformation/comparison_shtml.php Robin 427/421/324/1??

WOW!! Thanks for all the posts.Ive been checking info on Dr.Bloom in Columbus. Any one ever heard of him? I have heard alot of good things about Dr. Duncan and a friend of mine used Dr. Daly. She is 1yr out and has 5 pounds to go untill she meets her goal. At first I used the excuse that I was doing this for my kids, but to be truthful I am doing this for ME. I am tired of hurting all the time. Physically and emotionally.
