Hi everybody, sorry I have been lately but I am still feeling a little blahh.....anyway, I had my 2 week checkup today, down 17 pounds, weighed in at 262. I am a little disappointed in that, I know, I know, but I am being honest. I lost 15 of that in the first week, so how is it when you are only on liquids that you just lose 2 pounds in a week?? Anyhow I got spoken to because I am showing signs of dehydration(dizziness, nausea, etc...) and I am only getting in 30-40 oz a day. So I am going to have to start slugging down some water before they ship me back to the ER! I HATE DRINKING!!! I used to guzzle at least 80 oz a day, why is this so hard for me now? Well, enough feeling sorry for myself, just wanted to check in and let ya all know I am still alive Hope everyone is well! Karyn

Karyn, Your body is in starvation mode. It is trying to hang on to everything. If you can get your fluid consumption up, it will help! You will enjoy drinking again. I easily get in 110 oz a day of water. I'm always thirsty. Lori 384/255/168

Hi Karyn, I'm sorry to hear your still feeling a little down. I bet in a few short weeks you'll be so happy you went through this. Just think next year at this time you'll be up and down..WOO HOOO!! Hang in there chick, it'll get better. {{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}} Jamie

Hi Karyn, I just love your new picture. You really look so much like your mom..she's a cutie too! I know that it is so hard to imagine how our bodies adjust to the new pouch soooo very differently. I know that I felt exactly the way you do. I wanted progress (I still do) but there was no way I could possibly get in all the stuff (water and protein) that I was suppose to. To be honest, I was pretty upset I even had the surgery till about 2 weeks ago. Some people have a real easy time of it..and others don't. The only thing I can say is...look ahead, not backwards..the best has yet to come. Hugs, Ginger
