I am wanting to take my family to Six Flags this summer but I am terrified that I will not fit into the rides. I want my kids to be pleased that I can ride the rides with them, not embarrassed that I can't. Does anyone know what size you are able to fit into the rides a better way. I planned the trip but now I am having NIGHTMARES that I will let my kids down. They have NEVER been to an amusement park with me. PLEASE HELP ME.

The last time I went to an amusment park (Six Flags) I was a 24. I did not fit in many of the rides and most of the ones I did I needed an extender. Hope this Helps I won't go into another amusement par****il I am at least an 18. This is going to be a while since I am still pre-op.

I called last summer bcause I wanted to go and did not want to be embarassed, and they said most women larger than a size 18 will not fit on the "extreme rides." That means all the good ones. Over 18, you are limited to the Scrambler, Ferris Wheel, that stuff, you will not even fit on the Pirates Ship, and, even at a size 18, you have to cross your legs to close the bar. A lot of it also depends on height. A short person size 18 is going to have a lot harder time than a tall person, because their weight is more spread out. Good luck to you! That was one of my main motivations to get this surgery. I missed roller coasters! Carrie
