GHOST TOWN

OK what is going on with our board?? Where is everyone?? I know you lurkers are lurking!!!! Perhaps IF everyone reading this were to post SOMETHING... even one word to describe their day... this big old board wouldn't seem so lonely and quiet!!!!

My day...Let's see. I was invited out to lunch by my friend. We went out to Chinese food. I was able to order 2 items plus chow mein. I picked out the pieces of chicken and green beans..yum. I totally shocked my friend by finishing before she was done with her big plate of stuff. My weight loss has totally blown her away. We talked about the possibility of my having wls last year. She tells me that she never thought that I would actually go through with it. My friend is impressed, that just gives me more motivation to keep up the weight loss. I don't want to be.."the friend who had the surgery but it didn't work" See wls chick..I can say more than just one word about my day!! Ginger

This is the first time I've been on the board all day, ususally I lurk thorought the day, but today I've been so busy, and then today is my best friends birthday, so I took her out to lunch we went to Pasta Pomodoro {sp?}, I got a small spinach salad, and had to bring over half that back to work..... My friend is also very impressed with my weight loss, that made me feel good for her to tell me how good I look, I feel equally as good..... Well its 4:52p here, so I'm gonna try to sneak outta of work early, I'm helping a friend with her wedding, its more work than I orginally thought, but its really exciting, now I think I wanna get married, but hey! I think I gotta get a man first, go figure!!!! Have a great evening....

Welll what did I do today. I helped a friend move some shelves into a business that has those little antiques type malls where everyone has their own little section. She is going to set up some antiques for sale. And you know my boyfriend went to help her and she was being very rude to him. calling him fat and telling him it was his faught I was having to have surgery and she started yelling at him about paying him. And that if he didnt want to do it her way she wasnt paying him. I dont know why bob takes that. For starters we just went to do it because she asked not because we need the money and wasnt expecting any type of payment in the first place. granite we are not rich but we do okay. We cant go buy anything we want but we are buy no means doing without anything we need. But When I asked Bob why he took that he said she is old and senile and doesnt mean what she says. Yeah she is old and thinks she can be rude to who ever she wants. I will not let him do that again. nor will I. She can fini**** herself. The next time she asks us to help her. we will Be very busy. Besides that the day went fine. I went to library and have been reading wls for dummies, done dishes, took the dogs to the park. bye love marie

Hello everyone! I guess I am a lurker here so I felt compeled to say hello! I wish I could say I was doing better but in my case no news is not good news. I am in pretty much constant pain and know I need to make an appointment to see my dr. I just dread the thought of getting there as my mobility is so horrible and its not getting any better. I know I am a big chicken and that's a big reason I am as big as I am, so with the help of my sister I will make an appointment to go. Well It does feel better to post here and I'll try to do more writing as well as reading! Hope everyone is doing well, Lori
