So, my butt is actually shrinking, but now I have the sagging skin in my butt cheeks. I have been washing with antibacterial soap, DIAL body wash, but I've been getting rashy (excuse me!!) in my butt crack and somewhat itchy under my belly. Everyone says use powder, but what kind? I've always heard to avoid powder in the nether regions. I'm just worried that as the weather gets warmer, that it will get worse. As a huge woman, I dealt with the rash under my belly before (diaper cream does wonders) but the butt rash is a new beast!!! Thanks for your help!!! Kristen

Kristen, It is probably a yeast infection, just like you've dealt with before. Have you tried the diaper cream there? I use a athletes foot powder spray and it works great in all my skin flap areas. This is what SMOers who are going through weight loss have to do... Lori

Kristen I agree it might be a yeast infection. When I was pregnant I always had one on my "underbelly". Since then I have been using a hair dyer after I shower and also Monistat Powder it is not for yeast infections it has zinc oxide same stuff in diaper rash creams. I use it under my boobs and any other skin folds. It really stops me from getting sweaty in bad places, Jenn

Kristen, I know exactly what you are talking about... I get the same thing.. It really can make sitting on the sofa hurt... I use spray anti perspirant on my underbelly and that pretty much takes care of the rashes there.. I guess I need to start using it behind me too....its worth a try.. I have tried powders and they usually make matters worse for me....

I wanted to thank everyone for all the information and guidance. I went tonight and got some Gold Bond powder to try. I looked for that lotion that is supposed to prevent rubbing, but was unable to find it. I'll keep looking. I also will pick up some spray deodorant and see if that helps... Needless to say, thanks to everyone, I have a laundry list of things to try. Thanks, Kristen
