Before surgery I was so depressed because I could not measure my hips with just 1 60 inch tape measure tape. I had to mark my belly and measure the space inbetween to get it all in. Well this morning I only need to measure once because I measure 60 inches exactly in my hip. I know some people would think that was huge and it really is but guess what it is small for me and I know you guys would appreciate this WOW moment . Thanks for being my SMO family. Jennifer 357/289/175ish 16 weeks out!!!! and 60 inches down total!!!

Hey Jennifer, Great news The loss of inches is awesome!!! I was really glad that I measured myself the night before surgery. When I get feeling a little mad at the scale for not moving...when it is supposed to. I whip out my trusty tape measure and do a little math...and presto-chango!! I am in a much better mood. I am proud of you girl!! HugsGinger

Jennifer, I can so relate to this. Before surgery, I was about 69 inches around my hips and butt and had to buy a quilter's tape measure to have one big enough to go around me. Now, I'm 50 inches! Woohoo! It feels great. I think I'll keep that quilter's tape measure as a reminder! Hang in there and keep up the good work! Lori 384/252.5/168

Congratulations Jennifer! I didn't measure myself before surgery for the same reason; the tape just wouldn't reach that far! I had several people bugging me to measure myself and I just kept putting them off. The scale will have to be my only 'measurement'. Congrats again! You go girl! Huggs, Ruth
