Psych Evaluation?

My psych eval was much easier than I thought it would be. The psychologist assigned was extremely nice and had lots of compassion. We simply talked for an hour or so. She asked questions, and wrote, but it really only seemed like a conversation, getting to know each other type of thing. When she sent her report to my WLS program, she also sent one to my PCP, and a copy to me so I could read what she had to say. I was surprised at that, and grateful. I think it might have been a more difficult situation if I hadn't been so SMO ... she said she could see the extreme need for the surgery in my case, she felt I'd done my homework and had myself extremely prepared well ... and that had gone a long way toward her recommending me for surgery. I don't think I could have asked for a better experience, considering the nature of the whole thing. Hope yours goes every bit as well. Myra
