The Best Things About The Weekend
Good morning everyone!
I was wondering what YOU think is the best thing about Friday,Saturday, and Sunday? In other words........THE WEEKEND!!!
I used to love the weekend because the kids didnt have school and husband was usually off and its the time I felt like a real family. Now, all the kids are almost grown and gone. I remember when I was so happy when they were old enough to get up and get their own cereal. Now? Oh what I wouldnt give for just one of those Saturdays back. I miss them so much.Even though it was a LOT of work.
HEY!!! How did this turn into a trip down memory lane
???!!!
Whats YOUR favorite thing about the weekend?
Have a great one!!

Good morning Willby! I agree, spending time with Hanna is definitely the best part of my weekend, this is her first year in school, kindergarten, and before that she was with me every waking moment. I work in daycare and she just came with me. It was soooo hard sending her off to school, so I really do love my weekend time with her. This weekend will be especially nice because it extends through next week, they are off until the 27 for winter break. i am sure by then though I will be dying to send her back

My weekends are short now, I only have Sunday off but my favorite thing (aside from the sleeping in on Sunday) is definitely spending a whole day with my kids. Most of the rest of the week I'm gone from sun up to sun down and don't get to spend time with my kids at all.
Love, love, LOVE the weekends.
Thanks for the email Willby, I'll try to be around more often.

Hi, Willby. Do you like my new posting picture? My favorite thing about the weekend is drinking a pot of Starbucks coffee with my sweetie. We snuggle up on the couch with Curley Poodle and watch Tarzan, the Wild Man Poodle romp around and watch a movie. If I get up before Scot, I put on the coffee and watch What Not To Wear on TiVo. Well ... I relate to missing babies once they've grown and gone ... but weekends are actually when I get to spend time with one of my "babies" now ... since she lives here again. She works all week, and then on weekends likes do to much the same stuff I do, so we hang out together some. This weekend is going to be doubly sweet, because the other daughter is coming down from St. Louis without her husband and without the dogs, so we're all going to hang out together ... I'm really looking forward to it.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend.
