Dear Lori,
O.K. I want to be the first person to ask you this question...Who are you SUPER-WOMAN???? You go to the gym before work every day?..and then in your "spare time" you shovel snow for yourself and your neighbors? Wow.. can I borrow some of your energy???? I did got on my recumbant bicycle and peddle in intervals during the commercials this morning. That really wipes me out since I never was an exerciser before surgery.
My hats off to you Lori !!

Ginger,
I am not super woman! But, I am 9 mos out and 131.5 lbs lighter and I do have more energy then I did have. I wasn't an exerciser before surgery. When I was about at 12 weeks out, I started kicking up my exercise a bit. I walked each day until I got to 2 miles a day, I did that for about 2 months, then I joined the gym. I've gradually increased what I do with the help of a trainer who has me mix cardio with weight training. He gives me a new routine every 6 to 7 weeks. Believe me, I've taken this thing in baby steps!
Also, did I mention I have almost no night life anymore as I am in bed by no later than 9:30 pm, since I get up so dang early!
Keep exercising, it does get easier, it really does.
Lori
